Applied fashion Design Presentation

Today we had our group presentation for applied fashion design, I was put in a group with Lorin Shepardson, Hannah Lambon, Lucy Sharrock and Yasmin Sandou. We presented our collections printed and mounted onto white card, as was out illustrations. I made a fabric sample book and we handed this out as well as pinning fabric up on the board. We also made little price guide books (except Yasmin as she did not attend our group meetings) these had our design with a price for the buyer to see, we also pinned up our group mood board and a length of the fabric that we printed. I also made a sample prototype to show how the fabrics could be used within a garment, this was only quickly made so was not of any particular quality but showed the gist of the collection. We then divided up what we were saying and spoke about our own individual collections and illustrations, with queue cards with our brand image printed on them.
I think the presentation went relatively well although it would have been better if we improvised more than ready from our queue cards, but we were all well presented by all (except yasmin) wearing plaits in our hair and dressing smartly.
