PPD1- 3rd year assistant 2nd day

Today I helped out my third year by unpicking a part of a garment carefully, followed by hunting around town for some items she needed then researching places in and around leeds that she could get business cards, leaflet, flyers etc printed, I hope this helped her out a lot.

Interdisciplinary prototype

I have come up with my prototype for my interdisciplinary module in half scale, it consists of lots of ironed ruffled bits of fabric and has a split on the side.With full scale to get it the shape i want i may need to use thicker ruffles at the top and looser ones towards the bottom so i am going to experiment with this...

PPD1- Third Year Assistant

Today we got assigned to a fashion third year to help them as they put together their final major project, we will spend Wednesdays with them helping them out with little jobs so they can get on with others. I have been paired up with Uzma Faruque who i found very friendly and really liked her concept of an octopus, and her idea of presenting her work seems pretty amazing, today i helped her out with putting together some boxes for post cards which I hope she found very useful.
